Ayesha Takia born on April 10th, 1986 in Mumbai is a very promising actress in Bollywood. She won several awards for her wonderful acting abilities. The sexy actress who dreamt of becoming an actress first came to prominence as a four-year-old child model with her cliché dialogue in a Complan ad, 'I am a Complan girl'.
Ayesha Takia was born to Nishit, who hails from Gujarat, while her mother is half-Maharashtrian and half Britain. Spending most of the time with her mother, Ayesha Takia grew up speaking English at home. This cute 'Complan girl' has appeared in several commercial ads. When she stepped into her sweet teens, she appeared in Falguni Pathak's "Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye" in 2001 and later appeared in DJ Aqueel's "Shake it Daddy", which got her widespread recognition with the Indian audience and literally
landed film roles in Bollywood.
Three years later, the fascinating beauty began her film journey with "Tarzan: The Wonder Car" 2004} and won a Filmfare Best Debut award for her performance. She first signed "Socha Na Tha"{2005}, but as the film suffered hiccups and got delayed, so "Tarzan..." became her debut movie. She then acted in popular movies, "Dil Maange More!!!" {2004} and "Shaadi No. 1".
The movie "Shaadi No. 1" failed miserably at the box office despite the biggest star cast
assembled in the movie with the likes of Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan and Esha Deol. Even though the movie did not do well Ayesha Takia's screen presence and acting was well appreciated by the audience. She looked extremely sexy and hot in the movie.
In the year 2006, her biggest role came her way with "Dor", in which she portrayed the role of a young widow living in a Rajasthani traditional joint family. She gave a stunning performance in the movie, which won critical acclaim from movie critics and general public alike. She also won several awards which include, Stardust Best Supporting Actress Award, Star Screen Award Best Actress {Critics}, Zee Cine Critics Award, and Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards.
Following her super performance in Dor, the gorgeous beauty bagged several movie offers, in which she rendered wonderful performances showcasing her natural acting talents. She chose her roles which presented her beauty in a sensuous way but never did expose to the extent of vulgarity. She said, "Firstly, I cannot do what Meghna Naidu, Mallika Sherawat or Neha Dhupia did in 'Hawas', 'Murder', and 'Julie' respectively. Neither can I do a 'Girlfriend.' Yes, I can wear short tops and minis, but I would be uncomfortable wearing anything more revealing." Her forthcoming movies, which are awaiting releases, are "No Smoking", "Sunday", "Wanted Dead and Alive" and "Tasveer".
The buxom beauty was chosen by the viewers of 'Zoom', an Indian television channel as one of the top ten on the list of India's 50 most desirable women alive. This most desirable woman is reportedly dating Farhan Azmi, the high-profile restaurateur and son of Samajwadi Party MP Abu Asim Azmi. She said that she "would date a person who would definitely be someone who I could respect and look up to. Someone with loads of manners."
Ayesha Takia is currently one of the Hottest actresses in Bollywood. She is still very young and with loads of talent she will surely make it to the top one day.
